On 10 September 2024, the Grand Chamber of the Courtroom of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) delivered its judgment within the joint instances KD and KS v Council and Others. The case is critical because it additional expands the jurisdiction of the CJEU within the subject of the Frequent International and Safety Coverage (CFSP) regardless of the specific exclusion of the CFSP from the Courtroom’s jurisdiction beneath Article 24(1) of the Treaty on the European Union (TEU) and Article 275 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU).
